House Meal Program

A meal is never just a meal.

Every evening, families gather in our Community Room after long days at the hospital. Some are celebrating hopeful news. Others are navigating difficult diagnoses and long treatments.

A warm meal offers comfort, nourishment, and one less thing for parents to worry about—giving families a chance to slow down, reconnect, and simply be together.

22,325 meals were provided to families in 2025

Ways to Get Involved

Every meal served at Ronald McDonald House is made possible by caring individuals, businesses, and community groups. Whether you’d like to cook, learn alongside our chef, or simply make a meal possible through a financial gift, there’s a meaningful way for everyone to help.

Choose the opportunity that’s right for you.

Cook and serve a meal together.

Bring up to 12 volunteers to prepare and serve a meal of your choosing for families staying at Ronald McDonald House. We’ll provide the kitchen and guidance—you provide the meal and the heart behind it.

  • Up to 12 volunteers
  • Ages 10+ (adult supervision required for minors)
  • Prepare a meal for 50–80 guests
  • Approximately 3–4 hours, including prep, serving, and cleanup
  • Flexible scheduling with multiple meal opportunities each week:
    • Dinner: Sunday–Thursday
    • Breakfast & Brunch: Friday & Saturday

Best for:
Corporate teams, families, service organizations, clubs, and friend groups.

We’ll do the planning—you enjoy the experience.

Join our chef in the kitchen for a guided cooking experience. Your group will prepare and serve a thoughtfully planned meal while learning new skills and making a meaningful impact together.

Best for: Team-building events, client appreciation, and groups looking for a unique experience.

Provide comfort, even if you can’t be here.

Can’t make it to the House? Sponsor a meal, and our Ronald McDonald House team will coordinate, prepare, and serve dinner for families on your behalf. Your gift ensures families can gather around a warm meal when they need it most.

Best for: Individuals, businesses, foundations, or anyone who wants to make an impact from afar.
